ALS offers several voltammetry cells designed for different analytical needs. The SVC-3 serves as the standard cell type, accommodating 5-10 mL samples and featuring compatibility with multiple counter electrode types and microelectrodes. The SVC-2 is a versatile cell offering four measurement modes, including normal measurements, 10 mm working electrode compatibility, small sample analysis (100-200 µL), and low-temperature measurements with microelectrodes. For smaller volumes, the VC-4 cell handles 1-3 mL samples. The SVC-3C is specialized for low-temperature measurements, while the SBC bulk electrolysis cell accommodates larger volumes of 50-80 mL. All cells are constructed from hard glass for acid to neutral solutions, with polymethyl pentene options available for alkaline solutions2

Características:
- Standart voltammetry cell with teflon cap with three holes for

- Well suited for measurements of ultraweak current

- Easy removal of the dissolved oxygen
- SVC-3 can be used as a sealed cell by pushing the o-ring into hole groove.
- The microelectrode can also be set in the hole as a working electrode.
- Compared with SVC-2, it has as a characteristic that many types of counter-electrode can be used.
- Compatible with CS-3A Cell Stand.

4 Modes Voltammetry Cell SVC-2
Características:
- SVC-2 Voltammetry cell can be used for 4 modes voltammetry cell setup.
- Each voltammetry cell has its specific feature. It can also be used as an oxygen-free voltammetry cell.
- Sample volume from 5 to 10 mL. Setting the sample holder of 9.0 mm of the diameter , it enables small sample measurement (100 - 200 uL).
- Well suited for measurements of ultraweak current
- Compatible with several types of electrode

4 Operation modes
| Standard modeSet the Teflon cap adaptor to the Teflon cap. The Teflon cap adaptor is fixed with a silicon O-ring to work in an oxygen-free condiction. If you do not need the oxygen-free condiction, then the silicon O-ring can be taken out from the Teflon cap. Standard mode fits: - Working electrode (until OD: 6.0 mm) - Reference electrode - Platinum counter electrode 5.7 cm - Purging tube |
10 mm dia WE modeTake out the Teflon cap adaptor from the Teflon cap. Working electrode can be fitted directly to the Teflon cap. The O-ring will fit perfectly. It permits to have the oxygen-free condition. 10 mm WE mode fits:

| Small samples modeTake out the Teflon cap adaptor from the Teflon cap, and set the Sample holder of the 9.0 mm of the diameter (optional item). Set the working electrode and counter electrode into the Sample holder. Small sample mode fits:

Oxygen-free Voltammetry cells SVC-3C
Características:
- By using SVC-3C oxygen-free Voltametry cell, researchers can get rid of influence of oxygen in the cell by bubbling nitrogen gas, and also run the experiments at low temperatures.
- For low temperature measurement, three special attention need:
- 1Fluctuation of temperature-dependent reference electrode potential.
- Increase of the solution resistance due to a decrease of supporting electrolyte salt solubility.
- Incorporation of condensation of water vapor.
Using SVC-3C Voltammetry Cell:
- Reference electrode is setting away, using sample holder.
- Micro electrode is used to allow for a measurement in high resistivity solution.
- This cell is sealed.

Bulk Electrolysis Voltammetry Cell SBC
Características:
- This cell has been developed in order to perform a complete electrolysis. The carbon working electrode is a reticulated form that provides with sufficient surface area to gain the rate in electrolysis.
- It is composed with the chamber for the counter electrode, to be able to isolate the Platinum counter electrode and Porous carbon electrode, which are used with Sample vial (100 mL), Teflon cap, Gas purging tube, and CV working electrode (sold separately).
- CV working electrodes will be used to examine the progress of electrolysis. When not in use, port plug can be plug in.
- Water Jacketed Glass cell, and Platinum or Gold gauze electrode can be purchased separately.
- Suitable for:
- Quantitation of mass transfer of the electron per molecule
- Measuring the absolute quantity of the analyte
- Electrolytic synthesis of new materials (generally in quantity of milligram)
- etc.

Bulk Electrolysis Voltammetry Cell SBC
Características:
This quite handy cell is developed in order to evaluate plate material such as metal, semi-conducting plate, etc. In evaluation, a sample plate is sandwiched between cell blocks.
Applicable plate dimensions:
- width: from 10 to 23 mm
- length: approximately 25 mm (depends of the connection way)
- thickness: until 3 mm
Liquid contact area:
- approximately 7.8 mm
- (It is the inner diameter of the O-ring (ID: 7.8 mm). Due to the deformation when squeezed between the blocks, the area will vary slightly.)

Cell Set Up
The assemble will be shown below, where each step will be explained with the photo switches.
- Prepare the required parts.
- Set the plate on the bottom Teflon block.
- Set the Teflon block which contains the o-ring over the plate, and tight the screw left/right uniformly (the surface of the plate in contact with the solution will depends of the inner diameter of the o-ring)
- Confirm whether the plate is fixed adequate, and fill with the electrolytic solution (approximately 1 mL).
- Set the counter electrode and a reference electrode on the battery cover, then fix it to the cell. The Pt counter electrode, from the kit is a little long, please wind before use.
- Do the connection using the alligator clip.
