XP Series
The Solution for High-Power Electrochemical Analysis
High-Power with integrated impedance
The XP electrochemical workstations are high power, research grade potentiostat/galvanostat/ZRA with optional embedded EIS.
They are suitable for high current experiments like electrolysis and large battery testing with an industry leading upper EIS frequency limit of 500 kHz (compared to other high current systems).
The compliance voltage varies based on model and goes from 10 to 40 volts. The compliance current also varies depending on the model starting at 10A up to 40A.
High Power Configurations
Three powerful configurations available: XP40 (±40A/±10V), XP20 (±20A/±20V), and XP10 (±10A/±40V), suitable for different high-current applications like batteries, fuel cells, and electrolysis
Wide Current Range
Exceptional measurement range from ±100pA to ±10A with automatic range selection, enabling both high-current and high-precision measurements in a single instrument
Comprehensive Software Package
IviumSoft included as standard, offering full experimental control, data analysis, and compatibility with LabVIEW, C++, and Delphi for automated operation
Expandability Options

Boots your equipment?
Are you looking to expand your electrochemical analysis capabilities beyond just a potentiostat? SFTec offers a wide range of additional equipment designed to seamlessly integrate with your potentiostat, allowing you to tackle even the most complex electrochemical experiments and take your research to the next level.
True Linear Scan
The True Linear Scan is a hardware option that applies a smooth analog ramp, instead of the standard staircase sweep. This hardware configuration is available on all Ivium potentiostats, and can be fitted retrospectively via a software-key upgrade.
The True Linear Scan option is designed to be used in those cases where the nature and speed of the electrochemical reaction processes lead to information loss when a standard digital staircase signal is applied (fast transient behaviour, absorption, α-characteristics)
Stack analyser
The StackAnalyser module allows the simultaneous recording of up to 8 differential bipolar high-ohmic voltages (e.g. pH meter), or 8 simultaneous EIS measurements up to 100kHz in addition to the primary signal. It is designed to be used in combination with an Ivium potentiostat to monitor individual cells within a stack.
The module is fully integrated in IviumSoft in which the number of channels to be measured can be selected and shown in a satellite plot to the main signal. Each channel has 2 BNC connectors for the + and – terminals (16 connectors in total) and facilitates simple BNC cables to be used which terminate in the preferred connector of the customer (user supply).
Each differential channel has high input impedance (> 10^12 Ohm) for measuring high-ohmic external voltages.
